Cole Sprouse RESPONDS To Lili Reinhart Relationship Rumors

Riverdale season 2 is right around the corner, and the anticipation for the show’s sophomore season is REAL. The cast of the hit CW show has practically taken over pop culture, so it’s no surprise that the dating rumors continue to swirl. Stars Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse have definitely been at the forefront of those rumors, after sources allegedly spotted the two out together on more than one occasion, more recently at a part during San Diego Comic Con. But neither Cole, nor Lili, have really given much attention to all the chatter. Until now.
The Riverdale babes cover the latest issue of Entertaiment Weekly
“Since the show began, people have wanted Lili and I to be together. People have wanted Lili and Camila [Mendes] to be together. People have wanted KJ [Apa] and I to be together. People have wanted every actor on this show to be in a union that they could make real.”
The actor went on to share his feelings on the rumors, saying QUOTE
“Truthfully, it’s very pleasing that people talk about Lili and I in that way because it means that we’re resonating so strongly that people really want that to be true.”
“Want to be true” may be an understatement, because lets be real, if these two were actually dating IRL, the internet would absolutely implode. But we might never get a straight answer, although we’re definitely not mad at Cole’s take on the rumors. For now, we’ll have to live with them being besties, which seems like the norm for the entire Riverdale gang. In behind the scenes shots photographed by Cole himself, you can really see just how comfortable these guys are with one another. Also, a quick reminder that Cole Sprouse has some serious talent.
And as Lili Reinhart celebrates her 21st birthday, the love from the castmates became even more evident. On-scree and off-screen bestie, Camila Mendes AKA Veronica Lodge took to insta to share a sweet throwback pic of the two at Comic Con writing QUOTE “much love to this tender nug on her special day! feel so lucky to have her by my side through all the late nights filming, the photoshoots, the interviews, the panels and all the daily shenanigans. some know her as the B to my V, but I know her as the sunshine to my brule, the lizzie to my isabella, the christian to my satine. she's 21, she's ready to rumble, and she deserves all the love today. happy birthday, lilz 🌸”
And resident baddie, Cheryl Blossom, played by the gorgeous Madelaine Petsch shared a birthday message for Lili on Twitter, writing QUOTE “Happy birthday to the cutest nugget! Love you with my whole heart. I can't believe you're 21, Grandma”
And it was Betty’s on-screen bestie who stole our hearts sharing this pic of Lili with the cutest caption ever. Casey Cott AKA Kevin captioned the Instagram pic of his bestie with a simple “my spirit animal. And just bffl. You make the world better.”
So it’s clear there’s a whole lotta love going around between this cast, and for now, we’re more than oka with that. But now I want to hear from all of you.
